The urban landscape of Marrakech is the main point of this project. The city’s architecture alternate between old and new, forming a sense of polarisation and interweaving. Architecture is fundamental to the people who live in this city because citizens do not rely on electronic devices to get to a place. The “neighbourhood” for residents is what these buildings look like, and the “neighbourhood” includes the pharmacy, butcher shop, bakery and grocery store, etc. The existence of these “neighbourhoods” is proof of their survival.
